I never wanted this duo-logy to end. Atwood's writing is moving to say the least. Her world is speculative, at the same time it is regressive, reminding you of every orthodox and conservative through which religions (must have) come to exist. That's why I am confused as to where to situate it -- is it a well thought out futuristic compendium, or is it a haunting memory from the past?

So good. I found this to be an amazing prequel and sequel to Handmaid's Tale all in one. It was written so beautifully, I highly recommend.
