damn, this was fun... i'm not the biggest hellblazer reader but i have read and enjoyed the key runs. this one's got everything: chas, satan, liverpool, violence, magic-gone-wrong

This was a solid Constantine story by one of my top ten favorite comic writers over the past decade, and the physical package is presented with oversized pages that serve the art style, reminiscent of Steve Dillon or Glenn Fabry. It didn't have me in stitches as some of Tom Taylor's other DC books have, though, and it will be largely forgettable.

That is a pitch-perfect Constantine story: nasty, mean, sexy, hilarious. Taylor nails the characters, and Robertson did some of his best work.

Loved this one! While the plot was your average case solving with some occult stuff that is pretty expected for Constantine, the characters are really what made it fun.

Plus the art style was gorgeous and very graphic that helped set the tone :)
