Ik vond het verhaal vrij “inhoudsloos”, er gebeurde heel weinig en ik vond de verhouding tussen de personages niet fijn. De manier waarop het hoofdpersonage zomaar van elke man opgewonden werd, zonder emotionele band, rekening te houden met het feit dat ze letterlijk familie zijn, of dat hij haar eerder had willen proberen te verkrachten, zorgde ervoor dat ik haar doen niet echt begreep.

This is maybe the worst thing I've ever read. The quality of writing reminds me of wattpad in a really terrible way, the characters are all awful, horrible, disgusting people. I genuinely fear anyone who enjoyed this story or who think any of the events in this book are okay

Yeah, I'll be honest...the LI is

who's unlikable in ever single way. "He

you? Well boo hoo, his mommy didn't love him enough." I like dark and sometimes taboo romance but not the glamorization and romanticization of SA and domestic abuse. This honestly should have just been a dnf but I wanted to give it a full review with a star rating. The .5 is honestly just for the cabin and horses at this point. I was recommended Birthday Girl and this by a friend (I know you're reading this Kenzie) and liked BG a lot so I thought I would like this too. No. Just no. It wasn't even the

full on incest

that bothered me. The problem was the gigantic bag of skid marked gym socks called "Kaleb". He can chew rocks.
