The ending made no sense to me. The whole plot just completely disappeared. The rest, is whatever. Typical to what I usually read.

I genuinely don’t know how to rate this book. There’s grooming, incest, underage, multiple sexual assaults, threats of gang bangs and rape and that’s all in the opening chapters. The story then becomes an out of town/class girl trying to change a man who clearly should be in jail instead of getting therapy she actually needs.

I mean to say, it’s awful… but I read it. Probably shouldn’t have… but I read it. I read the whole thing and I wish I hadn’t.

The ending is a very convenient 5 years on happy ever after that frankly no one needed or buying.

It’s bad. It’s just bad.

There should just be plain old warnings for this, not just trigger ones.

I have never had to force myself to finish a book the way I had to with whatever this was. The characters were unreal, and not in a compliment way, but in a way that there is no way anyone would ever be like this in real life. So many things happened in this book where I had to shut it, take a lap, and try to reconnect with nature.

This book will stay with me, haunt me during nights where I feel at peace, only to remind me that this is something I had to read and sit with.

One of the worst books I’ve read in my entire life. It was like a car crash. So horrific but I couldn’t look away.

Worst thing I've ever read. Need to preface this by saying I read this for a challenge and it turned out to be even worde than anticipated. Toxic, creepy, and incestuous (not to mention the other weird implications); it is also horribly written. I'm begging the author to learn about writing longer sentences. No real character development whatsoever and no diversity either cause they're fucking related. Very concerned about the SA that's never adressed. This would be way better as a atockholm syndrome thriller.
