This is incest, pure and simple. There’s grooming, SA, and relations with a minor and an adult. Booktok did me so wrong on this one, I’ve learned to research books more before going in blind. Absolutely disgusting.

This book was quite an enigma to be honest. There were some heart-wrenching honest moments scattered throughout the smut that made me cry. I can’t fathom sharing a lover with any type of relative, meanwhile each man had their own relationship characteristics that I didn’t mind. But the whole uncle Jake situation was icky. So all in all I didn’t hate it but didn’t love it either.

I’ve seen recommendations for this book EVERYWHERE, so I thought I’d find out what all the fuss was about, and you know what? It was good. I didn’t think it was as “taboo” as some seemed to think it was, but it was a tad dark and full of tropes, and the spice was definitely spicing. My favorite part, though, was the complex characters and how each of the relationships unfolded between them. It was interesting, to say the least.
