This review contains spoilers. More dragons! I was so excited to see more dragon, especially ones from different schools with different cultures. I really hope we continue to see more of them. On another note, even with how short these books are, with there being 14 in the series, I expected the problem with the Necromancer and the False King would last longer. It ended rather abruptly and a little anticlimactically. However, it makes me wonder what new problems will arise with so much left of the series to go.

Eldwin and the princess are reunited and must quickly travel to the various schools to sound the alarm about the false king and to unite the riders to stand together against him. Along the way, they meet some interesting characters, Marin is betrothed, and Eldwin discovers some deep secrets from his past as well as some new mysteries that may take him away from the dragon riders school and Marin for a second time.

I received a free audiobook from the narrator, Andrew McDermott, who was as brilliant a narrator as always. I have reviewed it willingly.
