The ending left me wanting a couple more chapters to tie up the Lara storyline. Hoping for a sequel!
It was so nice just to read a YA mystery that I didn’t have to take too seriously. I got lost in a bit of the mystery at times, but it’s ok because it all cleared up nicely in the end. It was a great balance of mystery and the rekindling of old friendships and relationships, which made it feel semi-realistic. The reveal itself was a teeny bit underwhelming; however, like I said before, I wasn’t taking it too seriously and I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story. Karen McManus does know her audience very well. Obviously I’m going to continue to pick up her next books.
