The story premise is interesting though suspending disbelief in science and physics was a little hard. I did not see that plot twist coming. The audiobook narrators are excellent and I enjoyed listening to it. I will be continuing the series when the next one comes out.

This book is perfect for readers who liked the Six of Crows duology and are looking for a dark romantasy with no spice. The enemies to lovers was exquisite and had me screaming and cursing at the book! Also some of the scenes had me giggling a little For example the part where Jude and Kiara first meet in the bathing room or the time where Jude catches her reading his book, or even the part where they are in the magical glade taking baths in the river and Kiara has to pinch herself to not take a peek at Jude Overall this book was great for me and very satisfying EXCEPT FOR THE ENDING! OH MY GOD WHAT WAS THAT ENDING?! AND WHAT THE HECK DO YOU MEAN I HAVE TO WAIT A WHOLE YEAR FOR THE NEXT BOOK!!!??
