I would like to thank GRR for the opportunity to read and review this ARC.

Tbh, this wasn't as intense or as insidious as i thought it was going to be. Lots and lots of sexy times, with soft thrills and a serial killer bae, but without the energy of investigative drama or a super bloody walk on the dark side. The bees were fascinating though, and Cas' artisanal honey pots did make me...look at the honey in my pantry twice...organic from costco bless. But I wasn't a fan of Will, and i very much felt sorry for Jesse. And even though i knew it was going to end like it did, i still felt sad for my guy.

This was mostly sex with a smattering of sinister, and while i can appreciate all the fking
Spoilerand the vulture bees
, i prefer my murder husbands being killer creeps with a bit more plot to bite into.

This book was a mess. DNF at 30%. Everyone’s personalities were always shifting. And Will was a piece of shit.

THIS BOOK.

It was absolutely amazing and bonkers but in the best and most insane way. Towards the end, you realize how the honey is harvested and the cover becomes interesting in a lot more ways

This is one of those books I wish I could read for the first time again.

The red flag (or asshole) cinnamon roll MC’s are just marvelous. They will do the sweetest thing and then the next moment treat a coworker like shit. It’s just amazing. I loved every moment.

Then…then there is the mental trampoline of who is the killer. At one point I convinced myself that none of the seen characters were the killer and there was a mysterious 3rd person doing it.

I received an ARC copy in exchange for my honest review. 4 stars.

Wowzer. I love a good dark romance that has twists through it. Although my ADHD picked up the twists instantly, I definitely doubted my abilities a few times!

This romance is a dark one; serial killer MMC and a possessive dom MMC. I really did wonder how it would end, especially because at the start it says that the HEA depends on your definition of happy.

Just a couple of small irks with this one: the end felt slightly rushed and I kind of wanted to see a final perspective from Will/an epilogue further down the track. I also understand Will is nervous around people at the start of this book, but I feel like that was more of a story point, than an actual character trait.

That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed this one and devoured it in a handful of hours.

I really don't know why I put off finishing this for so long because holy crap that was so good! The suspense, the spice, the character and relationship development, everything was so well written. Trying to figure out who Cas really was, watching Will and Cas push out of their comfort zones with each other. I would 100% read this again, and I definitely need it as a shelf trophy so I will be buying a physical copy ASAP!

It was predictable on how some scenes would play out. For example
Jess getting killed. Soon as he and Will hooked up i knew he was a goner
Wish we could've seen more on Will and expecially Cas's childhood.
