i actually really enjoyed this! It was wild and unhinged and for the most part, I didn’t actually have a clue wtaf was going on.. Will was a very complicated guy and a few times i was like sir.. what are you doing!! Will + Cas were just perfect for eachother! so dark, so filthy, so unhinged -it was hot af.
will was all over the place for a little while, had poor Jesse going, Cas, Bailey.. he definitely had a side to him that he just absolutely loved the feeling of being needed, to control and dominate all of these men.
the twists and turns were so interesting! had me constantly on the edge of my seat determined to know what the hell was happening and who was cas!!
i love crazy and wild characters like cas and his internal thought process was so interesting to read! to be fair the same could be said for will, gahhh just love crazy babies like these men.
four and half stars for this wild ride <3333

This book starts off in Cas’ point of view but we really don’t know who Cas is right away because he’s lurking in the shadows. Cas has a sinister side, so he downloads an app where he can remain anonymous which he uses to him find his next victim. And when I say victim, I mean that literally because Cas is feening to unalive someone. And who is the first person to fall into his trap? None other than our other MC, Will.
Will is all over the place throughout the first half of the book because there’s three men that have his attention: Jesse - his best friend, Bailey - the bee keeper that he’s had a crush on for a while, and then Mantis aka Cas - whom he is talking to on the anonymous app. After Jesse comes onto him, they end up hooking up but then Bailey starts showing interest so he decides to give that a go while also trying to get Cas to lower his walls and meet up with him in person. After Will sends a body shot to Cas showing off his tattoos, Cas realizes that he knows who Will is in real life. So whenever Will was talking to someone, I was like is that Cas

Look we all know what this started off as, and if anything I'm a bit disappointed at the lack of cannibalism. Uncomfortably well written

Needless to say I didn't fall in love with this book, I tripped.
The plot races along, offering a thrilling peek into the minds of our two MMC's. There are some parts that have you really questioning things which keeps it interesting. The ending plot line however was totally unexpected, at least for me.
As my first foray into a MM book with HEAVY sexual scenes it did not let me down in that regard. The sex scenes are diverse in ways I didn't expect a "vanilla" book to be and never lacks intensity. (Though the content warning should have been a clue.)
All the characters are very one dimensional and I wish we would have had a little more backstory from anyone just to feel emotionally attached to something in the books.

I'm not gonna lie, I thought I was prepared for this book, but I most definitely was not. And I love it. The number of twists and turns this book had created a web of deceit that would send most people running. But not these two. They inadvertently built off each other to create a unique relationship. And I don't think I will be able to look at honey the same way again after this.

This was pretty good. I thought the steamy scenes were crazy hot. I liked the overall plot (love a serial killer MC). I didn't like that one MC was still sleeping with someone else after he and the other MC got together. Personally, I like all other relationships to cease, so that wasn't a big hit for me. I would have liked more backstory on both MCs as well. It didn't seem like we got enough of their history. But overall, I liked it, and I'll try more by this author.
