I love true crime and I love romance. Not usually in the same sentence... 

I felt like the romance between the two characters in this novel never really took off for me. There wasn't any of that delicious tension or build-up that I usually love in romance books.

It made me laugh several times. I found the main character relatable. It was fun come alongside her for her story. The pacing felt a little off towards the end, a little rushed, but I enjoyed it overall.

Cute and quick read, but I'd misunderstood the description and thought there would be more thriller or horror aspects rather than just a contemporary romance. It would've been nice if there were more creepier things about the MMC to keep you guessing if he was a serial killer or not, and more of a plot outside of the romance. Overall still enjoyed it!

Overall, pretty good romance book. It wasnt what i thought it was and actually took me a few weeks to read cause i struggled to get into it. The MC has some childhood trauma that she needs to unpack before she can fully move forward in her career, in love and in life. Cute ending
