Great book, but so many F bombs

Kevin Wilson does it again. At this point it's an expectation. All hail our returning king of literary fiction, showing up onto the scene with another story about family (did not realize until now it was such a prominent theme but laying all of his works across, with the exception of Tunneling to the Center of the Earth most of his works are about parenthood/family). It's not that you don't know exactly how Nothing To See Here will play out the moment the Jaded Cynical Loner Walks Into The Room Of Aggressive Angry Children Who Will Inevitably Win Her Over And Teach Her The Meaning of family, it's that Kevin friggin' Wilson is writing it and you're hanging on all of his sentences so hard that he could tell you anything as long as he tells it well, and he does! A little more focused than Perfect Little World, at the expense of scope (most of the book takes place within the same house, which is just not as compelling or quirky of a location as the facility within PLW). Between the two of them I prefer PLW even though I'm usually more inclined towards the fantastical, but this is a killer entry from Wilson, with complex, human interaction between the adults and between Lilian and the children. Each description is another small work of art.
