I really loved following Fallon through the steps of this journey. As La Nora had previously stated, this wouldn't be predominately a romance and it wasn't. The different forms of love still jumped off the pages. I thought Fallon was an amazing leader. She was strong and confident, but willing to listen to her advisors and commanders and adjust her plans when they discovered something better. I liked how Duncan and Fallon were with each other. I think it was right that they allowed themselves space to be themselves before figuring out their relationship. I found the final battle anti-climatic. I felt the battle for NYC was more gripping. This was a great trilogy.
