Very sweet, insta-love story between a gentle giant football playing farm boy and his new small artist neighbor who has DID. The artwork is so beautiful! The plot centers around young romance and small town bigotry.

Super cute! Murry was the ultimate cinnamon roll and Jacob ended up being so sweet! I especially loved the cat, Cindy. She was honestly the most realistically depicted cat I’ve ever seen in a graphic novel.

great story, a little trope-ish at times but over all, amazing art and characters. Would love to see more of these two cuties.

This was a very sweet romance, and most impressively a very good representation of DID.
I'd reread this regularly for some serotonin

This graphic novel was absolutely beautiful!! I loved the main characters, they were super sweet and I felt connected to them right away. I loved seeing the romance bloom, and the mental health rep was well-done. I would have liked to see a bit more from the supporting characters, but other than that this book really took me by surprise! Loved it!

thanks Netgalley for sending me the e-arc to this amazing graphic novel!

starting by saying that I already knew Cassandra Jean's works and I've always loved them, this was proof that her style and ideas never fail to amaze me.
I started reading this comic on webtoon and I immediately fell in love with both the characters and the story. Jacob and Murry are amazing main characters and I felt a deep connection with them since the first pages. the story is very cute and simple, and the characters' relationship is super wholesome and well-paced. despite the plot being really cliché (in a good way), the story touches important themes like mental health and D.I.D. beautifully and incorporates them without making them feel heavy even for a reader who doesn't know anything about those topics.

I would have liked it to be longer and probably less "easy" but overall, I can't speak ill of any of Cassandra's works so once again here to invite everyone to read this graphic novel. you won't regret it!

In this book we follow Murry, a high school student that plays on the football team, and Jacob, who has just moved into the house next door to Murry and his family. As the two boys get to know each other, Murry finds out why Jacob moved out to the countryside. The two boys grow closer and closer as time passes. Will they be able to get past Jacob's mental health issues? Will Murry's friends accept him dating a boy? You'll have to read and find out for yourself!
