I jist enjoy these stories im lockednin on this family snfnso very invested bookshop owners and sisters living their lives and in such a short span of pages I feel likeninknownthem in invested in them snd inwant to see what's next for them. Im unsure how I happened upon the first of these books but I havent regretted it! Definitely recommend if you want something shorter in length but with depth pick these up but do yourself a favor by starting with the first book so you get the full story!

In this episode, the family suffers two losses that make them realize what is important in life--love and happiness. While I loved revisiting these characters, this short story did not feel long enough. I loved the character building of Johnny (yay finally) and how he and Isabel's life changes after getting married. I need more Sophie and her husband though (he wasn't even in it except as a passing mention). Maybe the next story will be Sophie-centric now that Violet has grown up and spread her wings. Really want more of these stories, but longer, like a full novel. Spoiler: Their dog dies peacefully of old age (for those who cannot handle dogs dying in books).

I liked the 1st two shorts stories much better. This one was very emotionally heavy with death and then all of a sudden a happy ending.
