physically and psychologically painful to read in the best way possible. took an already incredible movie and turned it into something beautiful. there’s just something about stover’s writing. it reminds me a little of hadestown. the inevitability of it all. the tragedy of it all.

The author somehow takes one of the absolute worst films and gives it new insight and emotion. This is what Episode III should have been. The first Star Wars book I've read but it won't be the last.
