This book was kind of insane from start to finish, but I had a really fun time with it. I don't think any of the four main characters were particularly likeable, but I enjoyed disliking them so it evens out I think.

The heir property plot was a decent premise and brought light to an issue not many people know about but is likely crippling for those who experience it first hand. Pacing was fantastic. Each sibling has their own side-plot and unique challenges which is tough to create separate distinct characters when working with four siblings, Ms Shelton Harris does it well.
This reminded me most of Sanctuary by William Faulkner, a scandy pot-boiler-esque book that I thought did a remarkable job of addressing modern issues, albeit in a hyperbolic way at times,
