Enjoyed this one much more then the previous story. I really enjoyed the new double sided story telling, it was really good to be able to see from both characters perspective.

I found Eric to me an extremely interesting character (and tattoos just make it all the better). Rory was a bit of a dick in the previous book and I didn't see myself liking him this time around. However I was proven wrong. The fears and hopes both characters had were really exciting to read and helped add new dimensions to the authors work. I wish I could rate it higher then 5 stars, because this is a series that gets better the more it continues.

Spoiler only wish we saw an interaction between Heath and Rory. <\spoiler>

I picked this up for free and hadnt read stories 1-3, but really quite enjoyed this story. I didnt feel that I had to have read the other stories but whether some questions about Rory's past would have been answered by an earlier book.
Rory and Eric have met before, in less than stellar circumstances. When they meet again in Wellington, Rory is still dealing with issues stemming from the death of a friend and his growing awareness that he may be gay. Eric is dealing with the aftermath of the death of his grandfather and the realisation that he is all alone now.
Rory is very skittish as he develops a relationship with Eric, from acquaintances, to friends and beyond. I liked that Rory and Eric's story took time to develop, and I enjoyed the banter of finding Rory's middle name.
An enjoyable read, it moved along quite well with lots of miscommunication and angsty situations.

My favourite of this series

This was my favourite pairing in this series, I love it when a previous character who's behaved awfully in the past goes through a significant attitude change and is redeemed.

Rory was a jerk in two of the previous books but there was always a sense there was more too it than what you saw on the surface. In this book we get to find out what that was as he meets up with Eric again a couple of years after Will and Heath's romance took place.

There was a lot of believability to this story, I felt it could be the case that Rory could travel along the journey he did with Eric to become a more honest person and I liked how he in turn became a support for Eric.

DNF. MC Rory was too weird for me to like. I couldn't buy that he was so broken up and for so long over his friend/lover's death. I couldn't buy into his homophobia either. No chemistry between the MCs either. Lost interest in the book and deleted it from my Mac.

I wasn't sure how the author was going to redeem Rory but yup, she did it, fabulous addition to the series.
