Working my way (backwards) through Kennedy Ryan’s backlist and finally got to Rhys and Kai’s books. Familiar faces for me since I read the Grip series first, but it was so nice going back and experiencing them falling in love. A mix of rockstar and kind of sort of wrong-side-of-the-tracks romance. Kai is struggling to break out as a triple threat in Los Angeles. Not only is the competition thick, but the people who hold the power to launch her career are also grade A assholes. When she meets Rhys, a child prodigy with a complicated and public past, time stops and we have an instalove connection done right!

Este libro es una droga, desde que lo comienzas lo tienes que terminar de una vez porque es una historia maravillosa que literalmente te consume. Yo termine este libro hace horas pero no le hice la reseña porque yo estaba muy ocupada leyendo el libro siguiente de esta serie ya que el libro terminó con ellos no juntos y yo necesitaba saber que Iba a pasar. Bueno el libro es súper bueno, me encanta lo fuerte que el la tipa principal, la amo, la adoro, ella es una reina en mis ojos y una de mis personajes de mujeres favoritas. Yo no se como ella hace lo que ella está haciendo después de haber perdido a tu mamá ni hace one year ago, ella es tan fuerte y el tipo es tan perfecto para ella. El la cuida, la protege aunque de vez en cuando lo hace de la peor manera (mira desgraciado te voy a dar una galleta otra vez si le haces daño a mi niña!, stop Lying to her!) aunque el lo haga en la peor manera es bueno que el la cuide. Y yo lo amo a él por eso, y por lo cute y paciente que el es bye ✌️ ( ya comencé el libro dos y estoy a una hora de terminarlo)

Audiobook was not my cup of tea and I made it 30% before calling it quits on listening and finished the book reading. I kept hearing the narrator’s voice for Rhys which took me away from liking him.

Disappointed! I love Grip series. I thought that series open my eyes and propel my romance taste to the new level. I thought I was going to be blown away by My Soul to Keep. I am very confuse. Miss Ryan is suppose to be my favorite author. Now... I am not I want to pick up another of her book. 

My Soul to Keep does not connect with me. The characters, the story and the pace is just not working. The back and forth between Rhys and Kai is like watching the cote result between Biden vs Trump. Boring. Hey I am not USA citizen! 
I am always sad shelving a book under DNF. I really want to read a good book today. Well another day goes wasted, I guess.

i was enjoying it immensely, however, the author screwed it up (personally) at the end. their relationship became toxic, demanding, ANNOYING. i felt like i was a reading a totally different book from the one i started,,,
