Life in Pieces by Dawn O’ Porter
I give this book 4 stars
Dear 2020 – can we just start over?
Love Dawn x
An insight into her own honest personal journey through the first half of 2020. I absolutely loved reading this and whizzed through it.Told through diary entries it had me laughing out loud, feeling sad and generally relating to the good, the bad and the ugly parts of life, love and how Dawn copes (or doesn’t quite manage it) in her own way with ....... lockdown. young children, memories, grief, food, alcohol, gummies and pets..
A down to earth read with all the ingredients for some much needed light relief thrown in. Just what we all need in our lives right now!
Loved the cover,very apt!
With thanks to Netgalley,Dawn and Harper Collins for my chance to read and review this ARC

Dull as dishwater. I didn't realise she lived in LA when I picked it up so despite it being aimed at a British audience, the content is largely unrelatable. She tries to pretend she's one of us normal folk by talking endlessly about how much alcohol or weed she's consumed, or about her cat having fleas and her children wetting themselves, but then she mentions taking their hired childcare with them on a 3 day mini-break and I realised that she's just a typical tone deaf celebrity.

I hated teverythong about this book, I have never read anything from this author and probably will never read from this author again. I felt like my life is way to far seperated from hers for this to have the relatable feel she was going for.
