This is my second book I’ve read of Dawns, I really enjoyed it and found myself relating to so much of her “diary”. COVID has effected us all, the whole world, none of us could prepare for it and are still figuring out how to live in our new normal. But Dawn writing about her lockdown experience has made me see the funny side of things, we all just can’t stop eating or thinking about food!
lighthearted medium-paced

Lovely book from a very strange time. I love how real and authentic Dawn is. It’s the first one of her books I’ve listened to but I will definitely read more of hers.
Would recommend.

I’m a big fan of Dawn O’Potter and loved her novel So Lucky, which I read earlier this year. So I was very excited at the opportunity to read her new non-fiction book, Life in Pieces.

I love Dawn’s style of writing and her new book did not disappoint. Life in Pieces is a funny, brutally honest, witty and heartbreaking take on what 2020 has been for us all.

This book was unputdownable, it was so easy to relate to and strangely fun to read! This was truly a great book that I think everyone would benefit from reading.

Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for the opportunity to read Life in Pieces by Dawn O’Porter in exchange for an honest review.
