This book was awesome. Extremely comprehensive while also being well written, which kept me engaged the whole time. The perspective the author provides of knowing Ted before and during his murder spree/subsequent incarceration adds such a unique dimension. I appreciated her ability to balance this with the facts, so it didn’t seem like it was all about her or that she was too self-serving. It’s just wild to me how she was contracted to write about these murders before knowing Ted was even a suspect.

If you love true crime, this is a great choice.

Excellent insight into Ted Bundy. I’m left feeling as Ms Rule had felt: profound sadness for Bundy’s victims and for Bundy himself.

oh my god ann rule was so thirsty for ted bundy lol. ann was more focused on describing the local weather and her fat crush on ted than on writing about the victims. they felt like footnotes. i finished it only because i was trapped on a plane. id rather be tarred and feathered in the town square than have to read this absolute travesty ever again
