Another dark and steamy monster romance book! I am beginning to be such a fan of the monster romance trope. Such a good novel and I can’t wait for the next book.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A sampler buffet of monster romance. These quick, spicy reads give a brief little taste of what each author is serving up. I like a little more conclusion to my stories as these often feel like you’re left hanging a bit. But I still really enjoyed them and added a few authors to my ‘must check out’ list.
Here’s a deeper look into two of the stories I’ve already finished.
Surfing her Sea Monster - Evangeline Priest
Kaia is an interesting character fate bonded to a sea creature, who suffers from amnesia. Minato is an intriguing sea creature… I would’ve liked a bit more story to go along with this one. Just as I was creating a connection to the story and intrigue, it ended. I understand the story will be continued in future books, but the lack of any sort of conclusion left my underwhelmed. I did enjoy what was there, just wish it continued.
Her Mysterious Merman - Clio Evans
Wow! Who knew merman could swive like that? This quick read definitely took a deep dive right into the spice. The poor Barista just wanted a vacation and couldn’t even catch a break on Dead Man’s Cove. He definitely knew exactly what to serve though, and she didn’t nee much convincing to jump right in. A quick, hot read for sure.

Her Mysterious Merman by Clio Evans: I absolutely loved getting to read about the Barista and his matchmaking skills again! I loved the merman and the BJ on the first date. I can't wait to see where Clio goes with the expansion of this story! 5/5 ⭐️

A Glow From The Deep by Wren K. Morris: Now I love me some Greek mythology retellings and Wren never disappoints! I literally was immediately hooked to this story from the first line when the fmc was being forced to walk the plank by her crew. This short was only 6 chapters and I can't wait for Wren to expand more on Adriana, Bythos, and Aphros's story because I just know it's gonna be amazing! 5/5 ⭐️

Daddy Of The Sea by Jillian Graves: I really enjoyed the story! I hope there's gonna be more to it as I would love to learn more about the fmc and the kraken. 4/5 ⭐️

I loved this short story, perfectly smutty. I definitely have a thing for daddy kink so it was right up my alley.

I hope we get an extended/longer version in the future! ❤️

*ARC review solely for Daddy of the Sea, Jillian Graves’ short story*

Such a great, quick, smutty story. These are perfect when you’re in between books and you’re itching to read something but don’t want to commit to a full novel or even novella. Anthologies are also a fantastic way to read something by a new author without the full commitment.

I already know I love Jillian Graves and I can’t wait for this story to be expanded on bc I need MORE! The daddy vibes were immaculate and I can’t wait to read the other stories.
