子どものとき読んで大好きだった本を原書で読んでみたくて、頑張った。
半年近くかかり、日本語訳と、オーディオブックの力も借りながらなんとか読み終えられた。
いやーしんどい旅立った。
子どものときには見えなかったキャラクターたちの勇気や悲しみがくっきりと見え、セラピー効果さえ感じた。
また数年経って再読したい。
