die serie war tausend mal besser dieses buch hat mir einfach unnormal pick me vibes gegeben von ruby und der plot erinnert mich an diese gacha life stories mit dem armen mädchen und dem reichen jungen. jaja es ist die gleiche geschichte wie die in der serie aber bei büchern fühlt es sich einfach privater an und so privat wollte ich nicht mit den beiden werden. ich werde die weiteren bücher auf gar keinen fall lesen aber ich freue mich schon auf die zweite staffel lmao

This would be a really good time to know german but alas, here we are reading what I think is a google translated book I found in a subreddit (shout out to whoever made it though, it was readable!) Amazon Prime killed the book to show adaptation, but when do they not honestly. The show was indeed better than the book in this rare occasion…
I found Ruby to be wayyyy less interesting, James a lot less dimensional, and their chemistry just simply didn’t jump off the page for me (show chemistry comparison aside).
