I normally hate books that jump from character to character but this was so beautifully written!! The characters match so well and their growth through the book is shown just right. The only thing I would say I would want is to know a little more about Sam, Richard, and Lucas I wish they just had a little more story. But overall this book is a must TBR!

The plot kind of got lost in this one - there were too many plotlines, too many POVs to follow and just too much happening for the ending to be anything but expected. Usually when books have multiple POVs like this, the main character's is in first person and the others are in third. This one had everyone's POV in the first person and it really made it confusing. There were just too many people talking, and having access to all of their thoughts didn't add much to the book.

I also felt like there was just too much happening - Zoe's life before the accident, the accident itself, her court case, her stint in rehab/lockup/whatever it was, her new family, her mother's death, etc, and for some reason also the health details of the lawyer who defended her in court?? There was just so much happening that nothing got the time it needed or deserved, which meant that there could basically only be one ending. We spent so much time sidetracked on random other things that there was no way the ending could be anything else.

This book is super dark and had a great twist at the end. I loved the irony of the title — each character has imperfect qualities that make it a even more dynamic story.
