Predictable but still good. Some parts just seemed too easy and convenient.
I am finished with this series. I don't care how many more books are added to it. It is getting too predictable.

Part of the ongoing story about the Clifton and Barrington families after WWII. Harry's son Sebastian learns the business and about heartache and Lady Virginia is still a thorn in the families side. The book ends with two court trials taking place; one in England and the other in Russia.
I love these books, light, easy and quick to read, entertaining. It won't change your life, but it's fun.

No less was expected from such a wonderful author.
But the scene where Fisher and Giles campaign an election against each other, again, was too reminiscing of the first. In fact sentences were merely repeated from the previous book. Very intriguing. But certainly not disappointing.
As one may start to question the intentions of the author, his credibility is indeed proven. The outcome of the election is different. Not only that, this was an intentional sense of deja vu, not a mistaken error of repitition.
