Sometimes in tragedy we find our purpose in life, we find out who we are meant to be….we find who are meant to be with…..this that story. Willow just gets it…..she writes the beautifully broken so well that you see past all the flaws in the characters, you see who they truly are. Robin & Jay found each other in crisis, suffering….finding solace in each other. Jay was her protector, her warrior, her friend. They found their way back to each other in yet another crisis, but this time? Robin was his protector, prepared to fight his battles, his demons…in order to save the man she’s loved all these years.

It’s dark and twisted.
But that doesn’t make it any less of what it is.
A love story. Our love story.

Once again, another emotional tale that engages from the start….leaving you emotionally sated. There is darkness, and there are twists….amazingly detailed throughout. This totally had me pondering one of my favorite quotes from SOA… “We don't know who we are until we're connected to someone else. We're just better human beings when with the person we're supposed to be with. I wasn't supposed to leave...I belong here.” (Tara to Jax) I am so blessed to be gifted with this advanced copy to devour & review!

Just not my thing. Didn’t really like any of it. But it was a quick read and I’m always here for that.

I so wanted to like this book but it's really odd.
I love books where you have to look beyond the surface and I don't mind being confused until it's cleared up but this book is just odd.
I am glad I read it but I wouldn't re-read.

I loved the concept of this story, but a lot of it fell flat for me. Even with guessing what the big plot twist was, I was still confused through a lot of the story. This is definitely not a book that you can half ass pay attention to. The characters were okay, but I never got attached to them. Overall it just okay for me. Good enough to finish, but not captivating enough to want more.

Good book, just not one of my all time favorites. It was hella confusing at the start but I think it’s supposed to be, so just embrace and and enjoy the ride so to speak

This is one of my favorite stories in Willow's collection. I love to read heartbreaking stories that ling on my heart forever. There is just something special about the journey of their friendship. The story comes alive from the first page until the end. Happy to now say that I am current on her entire collection. Especially love how she is able to describe every little detail.

Definitely *not* what I expected, but definitely worth the read! Dark and kinda sweet in a twisted way, but I enjoyed it. I only gave it 3/5 stars because I couldn't connect with the characters, they were just characters on a screen so I never *felt* for them... but aside from that, a pleasant surprise!
