this was yet another okay volume with predictable murder mysteries. the first mystery, murder by sword, and the second involving murder by golf club were both mildly entertaining. however, the fourth mystery was different, in that the murderer was revealed from the beginning, which i didn’t like, and then to top it off this filler mystery ended with a cliffhanger. like what’s the point if the murderer has already been revealed

I'm not happy because there aren't many character-driven stories. I still enjoyed it, though.

Cases were good in this volume. They were not as exciting as previous ones but I still had a good time.

Ich war am Anfang voll erschrocken, ich dachte wirklich, jetzt ist es um Conan geschehen! Aber dann waren es doch nur seine Eltern. Und die Szene später mit der Katze voller Blut muss den kleinen Kindern ja eigentlich ein ziemliches Trauma verursacht haben. Aber ist halt Manga nicht?

Another thrilling and silly installment in the Case Closed series. This volume resolves the cliffhanger from the previous volume and covers an affair investigation-turned-murder case, a junior detective league case, and a murder case whose suspect has a suspiciously clean alibi. I love/hate Aoyama's cliffhangers, and this volume ends with another one!

This is one of my favourite ones, and so memorable as well. The Alibis of three murder and solving has stayed with me since I read it the first time many years ago and it's still amazing, even if I do know every single detail. This was a very familiar and a very welcomed read.
