This novel is based on Essie, a business owner, a badass, and Jax, her brothers best friend. This book made me feel all types of feels, I loved the characters each in their own ways and I loved the writing! TSBB is such and easy and cute read. If you aren’t convinced to read this, let me tell you that I read this book in just over 2 hours and every second, no wait, every millisecond of it I enjoyed.

This was such a great coming of age YA romance read! I loved how Estella was strong in her own right, but still had her vulnerabilities, and Jax was such a kind and caring guy, who also had his own stuff going on. They really did bring out the best in each other and it was so nice to watch their relationship grow. The characters were authentic and that was the best part - they both made mistakes, but they were able to own up to them and that showed great growth. I really enjoyed this book!

Oh my goodness, this was the sweetest love story of two amazing characters that had me rooting for them the whole time. I wish I could see Essie's fashion creations in real life! What a fantastic debut novel Lynda!

I adored this sweet YA romance! Essie is such a strong character, and Jax is the perfect guy to balance her out.
I loved seeing their relationship grow, but also them grow as people throughout the book.
I’m not a huge YA fan usually, but this book didn’t feel childish, but it was also not too adult for the genre - it was the perfect mix!
Highly recommend this one for any romance fans!
