This was a great book, but it was so slow (to me) that it was hard to get through. The payoff in the end was worth it though. The story intricately weaves together a story that begins with Sportcoat, Deacon Cuffy Lambkin, shooting the most dangerous drug dealer the Cause Housing Projects has ever seen. This book takes us through how this single act reverberates throughout the community and how it spurred action and change in the people who are connected. The detail of this book made it great and truly developed each character, but it was a slog to get through.
