The only originally a serialized novel classic that I've ever enjoyed. It was obviously slow but it didn't feel unnecessary in the way others have before. I liked the plot and characters.

In a way very similar to Wuthering Heights, although not as good. What I must admit, though, is that Count Fosco is an incredibly well-written villain and totally stole the spotlight.
