I love this series. It's always an easy hot read with a hint of a sad storyline to keep your interest.

Unfortunately I might be too much of a socialist schill because Beatrice's behaviour wasn't so much 'girlboss' as c**t (and not in the drag race, cool girl way). Sorry, being mean and contemptuous to servants is not a fuck you 'serve'. It makes perfect sense her honestly too patient family wants nothing to do with her. She has supposedly been through seven seasons, putting her at probably 25 which is entirely too old to be acting like this. Good God Girl Get a Grip.
I didn't hate that she didn't change...I just found it annoying that I didn't really care if she died šŸ˜•

It was nice, quick read. but it was tamer als expected.
His needs were kept on a down low IMHO.

Oh my sexiness, Nothing Denied is steamy!

The shrew and the murderer, who would have thought? Well, it seems Beatrice did think it would be a good match, and thankfully for Ms. Michaels' readers, Beatrice was right. Gareth is the oh so sexy outcast, thought to have murdered his first wife, while Beatrice is the Ice Queen of the Albright sisters.

After both being practically shunned by the ton, Beatrice "proposes" a deal to Gareth that he would be stupid to refuse, especially when she agrees to his terms: they will wed if he decides that they are sexually compatible. Um . . . yes, please!

I loved them as a couple, what with all their angst and sordid pasts getting in their way. I also loved the glimpses into BDSM, too, as it stayed well away from the more fetish stuff, but was a nice introduction to BDSM.

Really, I simply enjoyed this installment of the Albright Sisters series much more than I did Penelope's story. Well done, Ms. Michaels.

Humm... Well, I did like it but it seemed to be lacking a certain umph. The story didn't go as deep as I thought it would and while you are giving a twist at the end I would have rather had that time spent on developing the characters and story line further. Still good though, 3 stars.

Members of the ton give Beatrice Albright a wide berth. Though beautiful, the third Albright sister is an acknowledged shrew and, at the beginning of her seventh season, considered to be ready for spinsterhood.

Beatrice is aware of her reputation and knows that her attitude has landed her in a situation that is almost too much for her to bear. When her older sisters take their youngest sister rather than Beatrice under their wing in order to help Winifred catch a husband, Beatrice finds herself staring into the face of her future: no social invitations and only her mother for company. To avoid this fate, dramatic steps must be taken. Beatrice knows the only way for her to land a husband is to find someone no one else would marry. Gareth Berenger, Marquis of Highcroft, fits the bill perfectly.

Gareth handsome and wealthy, but the rumors that he killed his first wife make him more of an outcast than Beatrice. Gareth wouldnā€™t even attempt to move in society, but that he needs an heir and thus needs a wife. When the tempestuous Beatrice proposes to him, Gareth is intrigued. But Gareth is a man of unconventional erotic tastes and experience has taught him that his bride must suit him sexually. So he makes a deal with Beatrice: spend a fortnight with him and if they match in the bedroom they will get married. Itā€™s a shocking proposition, but for Gareth and Beatrice itā€™s their last chance to wed. Will their erotic adventure end in happiness or heartbreak?

Follow Jess Michaels behind closed doors where nothing is denied when the prize is pleasure. The third Albright sister meets her match in a darkly seductive lord who is perfect hero material. Gareth is sexy, dominant, and tender ā€“ the perfect match for the dramatic, passionate Beatrice. I loved watching Beatrice shed the layer of shrewishness sheā€™s worn for so long. What makes Nothing Denied so enjoyable is that neither Beatrice nor Gareth take each other at face value. They work to uncover the people beneath the reputations and itā€™s no surprise to the reader that, when all is said and done, they are both likeable, endearing characters that are perfect for one another. On top of the romance is the sexual journey Beatrice takes with Gareth. With a touch of BDSM and a healthy dose of eroticism, Nothing Denied might just be Ms. Michaelsā€™s hottest book to date.

Nothing Denied is the third Albright Sisters book, but it can be read as a stand-alone. I enjoyed Nothing Denied just as much, if not more, than Everything Forbidden and Something Reckless, both excellent books in their own right. From teasing mentions in Nothing Denied of how the youngest Albright sister, Winifred, winds up married, I definitely hope Ms. Michaels writes her story. Until then, Iā€™ll just curl up and enjoy the sinfully delicious Nothing Denied once more.

The final book in the Albright Sisters series and I have to admit, I loved this one the best!

Though Beatrice was a trifle annyoing at the beginning, by the end I loved this very passionate and hig maintenance young woman, who was a perfect match to our hero Gareth!

And again, Gareth turned out to be my favourite of three Heroes in the book. There was a dark passion to him that insantly drew me in as a reader.

Michaels is excellent at weaving these tales and I really enjoyed reading them.

My only critisism, though it isn't just with this book but many in the same genre, is the use of anal sex as the new initiation or "virginity" in the books. I've overlooked this because it was well written, but I dislike this who new area (no pun intended)in the genre. Its a minor quibble to an excellent book and the situation only happened once.

My favorite Albright sister and maybe my favorite anti-heroine. Beatrice starts spoiled, mean, and difficult to love. Sheā€™s certainly not a perfect or likable character like her sisters but there is a depth to her and her hero Gareth brings out. She certainly goes through a whole character arc. Gareth is such a sexy, kinky hero. I love Jess Michaelā€™s historical erotic romance style so much ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø

Goodness I love this series. Although the stories are almost the same, I always enjoy a good love story!
