Should come with a trigger warning for
This book took me so much longer to finish than I anticipated. It is a good story line, although the pace of the book is forever changing. One minute you feel like the characters are doing everything so slowly and then everything happens so fast it almost leaves your head in a spin.
Some parts of the book could have done with a lot more research, you can tell it is written by an British writer although it is set in America. If she had done more research then this might not have been the case.
This book can be uplifting at times and frustrating at others, hard to put down in some parts and hard to pick up in others.
Personally, I was going to read the second book in the series straight after this one but I think I need a break from the authors writing style.
Moderate: Adult/minor relationship, Alcoholism, Domestic abuse, Mental illness, Kidnapping, Stalking
This book had so much potential and there were a few cute scenes but overall it was terrible. It was unrealistic and the main heroine pissed me off.
I will be honest, when I started this book I didn't have a whole lot of hope for it because of all the bad reviews I've read. But I decided I wanted to take a chance on it, because I've liked other books I've read by this author.
The book is about Riley having a wonderful best whose she's know her whole life practically. He's always there for her, and they are very close. They tell each other everything, and they are constantly spending time together, even doing sleep overs.
Clay has always loved Riley, but just been afraid to tell her how he really feels. Until things start to change between them. Riley starts to notice that she feels more for Clay than just friendship. But she thinks he could never want her, or a real relationship so she goes to the arms of a guy Clay can't stand.
Let the drama begin. There is a lot of drama in this book. It was crazy all of the stuff that happened to Clay and Riley. I did enjoy there relationship though. I loved how they did get together, and stayed together even through all of the bad stuff.
I have to say this book was only okay though. It had too many things that really bothered me for me to actually consider thinking it was good. For instance, I didn't like any part of the middle of the book. I just liked the ending, and the beginning. But I did like some of it, and it was a nice book to just relax into.

I love Kirsty Moseley!! I have been following her since Wattpad, and this was always one of my favorites!I have read it so many times!! I am still so proud that she got published because I love her writing!
I only finished this because I was hoping that it would turn out that... SPOILERS SORT OF FOLLOW>>>
Clay was actually the stalker and Blake was actually trying to help her... sighs.

To be completely honest, I was pretty disappointed by this book. I’ve previously read ‘The Boy Who Sneaks in My Bedroom Window’ and I enjoyed it, it was an easy read and I can be a sucker for clichés. This however, I got bored 143 pages in. I thought it was okay in the beginning but I just couldn’t bring myself to finish it.
Ohmygod. This book is so..I dont even know the word. Im so sorry, Kirsty. I loved TBWSIMBW. It was great. But this, this dint work for me.
