I absolutely ate this one up.
The spice, the trauma, the age gap, brothers best friend.
Griff and Nadia hold a special place in my heart.
Gold rush ranch will be missed

This one just felt the most mature to me. From the distance to the communication, both mc's felt like they were mature and made the right choices for themselves which isn't surprising after what trauma they have both gone through. I just really loved this series. Stefan and Griff were both just perfect to me

This series became a full obsession for me- LOVED!

First off, this series got better and better with every book. This one had great pacing, a strong plot, some twist and intrigue, an second chance focus for everyone’s personal journeys (which I loved), and it felt like such a solid wrap up to characters I’ve really grown to love.

Mira and Nadia are my favorite of the Gold Rush women… which is a hard pool to pick from. But their dynamic in this was so sweet and was so well matched by the fondness between Griffin and Stefan. Nadia was such a great FMC and Griffin is fully my new book boyfriend… good lord. They were quippy, challenging, SPICY 🌶️, romantic, button pushing, tender… it was all so perfect. Loved seeing them grow sweaters and together!

This book fully has given me a hangover. I’m going to miss them when I head over to Chestnut Springs! 🐎💕

This is what I wanted Nadia to see.
That two people can be happy together.
Gentle together. There can be trust and love, and she isn't too broken to have this.
She just hasn't met a man who deserves it with her yet. One that's willing to work hard enough to have it.
Because this side of Nadia will have to be earned.

The entire book I just went between loving the dynamic between them and feeling absolutely exasperated by them.
I always knew this wouldn’t probably be my favourite book because age-gap romances just aren’t my thing but I actually think that part was done really well and it didn’t weird me out as much as I thought it would.
However, I feel like the whole book we just went in circles. They would make some kind of move that would indicate a shift in the relationship and then pull back. And repeat and repeat and repeat. And the reasons were always the same ones and they would simply not talk about them.

Protecting myself doesn't mean settling.

I think one of the main reasons why I didn’t like it that much was how Nadia’s whole thing was that she didn’t want to end up like her mother. However, the ENTIRE book she kept making dumb choices that would put herself in the exact same position as her mother once was. Thank fuck Griffin was actually a genuinely good guy, unlike her father, but STILL??? And then just because she decided to actually go to vet school at the end doesn’t mean it erases all her past choices like GIRL PUT YOURSELF FIRST!!! HE’S JUST A MAN!!! She was always saying how she would never put a man above what she wanted for herself BUT SHE KEPT DOING IT? The way Griffin wanted to speak about things and have important conversations and she would brush him off and just ask for sex like?

”What did my mom whisper to you last time you saw her?”
“She told me I'm the only person she's never seen you stutter around.”

I did love Griffin a lot. I think he was such an interesting character and seeing his growth throughout the story made the entire book for me!

And seeing all the previous characters and where they’re at in their lives was definitely the highlight of the book. I was eating up all the little Mira and Stefan crumbs. I would probably rate this less than I did if it didn’t belong to the series that it does but I absolutely ADORED gold rush ranch and I’m gonna miss it a lot :(

I don't want to be your antidote. I want to be your reason. The reason you put the work in.
