I love this series. I know I’m late starting it and only half way on a still moving series, but I still enjoy them. Eve Dallas is an expert cop and Roarke is an expert scoundrel. I love how they interact and work together. This time Eve is hunting down a serial killer from nine years before. She and the whole team including Roarke are tagged to finally find this man. The plot as usual is fast paced and fun. The characters have growth, and follow a new path at the end. This is a fun series I’m excited to keep reading.

Gripping and chilling at the same time and I loved it! By far the best futuristic crime series out there and I enjoy picking up each instalment.
3.5 stars. Review posted here: https://courtneyreadsromancesite.wordpress.com/2019/05/16/review-of-creation-in-death-in-death-25-by-j-d-robb/
For him, death was a vocation.
Another great installment of the series. Nine years ago before Eve made detective, she worked with Feeney on a case in which the killer was dubbed "The Groom". A victim with all the same attributes is found and Eve is once again looking for the killer.
I really liked that Roarke was called in on the very beginning of this case and that he spent time at Central where he could truly see Eve work.
The tension between Eve and Feeney now that she is the lead investigator was difficult to read. It was like watching family members have a disagreement. I'm glad they were able to come to terms.
There a lot of excellent police work in this story. It is amazing the information that can be obtained.
I simply cannot get enough of this series. I left work early Friday because I was not feeling well. After a three hour nap I picked up this book and read it straight through.
An excellent series that I highly recommend.

Excellent excellent book. One of my favorites in the series.
I've been reading this series for years and have generally enjoyed all the books. However, sometimes they get repetitive, especially with the relationship between Eve and Roarke.
Really good easy read. It kept me going and I like how the future decisive worke mixed in with the “old school” deceive work. Though this was a series it doesn’t really matter I wouldn’t mind reading more of Lieutenant Eve Dallas series.
Bizarrely, I haven't reread this book before. Most of the JD Robb books I've read more than once, and when I was reading Salvation in Death last week, a character was brought in briefly that was an obvious reference to previous book, and I couldn't place it at all. This lead to me digging out this book and reading it again. Very glad that I did.
The series grows in new ways as it progresses. In this one Roarke actually becomes part of the team investigating murders (beyond the “civilian expert” he has been previously. A serial killer from Eve’s early days appears again so all the characters are back as well as a few new faces which may introduce them for future books.
