I'm really struggling to finish this book. It's a lot of repetition and it's getting really annoying. A lot of points just make it feel completely unrealistic.
Imagine somebody wants you dead and you're being chased/hunted down and yet for some reason every time you find a new piece of information you decide to wait until the next day to act on it. Who cares if your parents and best friends are potentially being tortured or killed, let's wait almost two full days to open a frickin envelope that will give us important information. And it's not like this happens once twice or even three times, like every freaking time. It seriously feels like the MCs are in no hurry or not stressed about trying to save them. They keep going about their days all la de da and eventually find out some useful information, but then No we're just going to wait another 12 to 20 hours or so. Who cares if this family could attack us at any time and kill or kidnap more people. SMH.
Oh and these people who are hunting you down have been hunting down your family members for the past 300 years, But they're also dumb enough to send you pictures with billboards and other information in the background so you can find exactly where they're hiding.This family has had centuries of essentially being crime bosses. There's no way they would take pictures with details in the background that could allude to their location. Unless they're the dumbest criminals ever.

Best shifter novel of the year!
This one has it all. I can’t give anything away because it’s that good. I’ve been reading so many shifter novels this year and this one is the best one. It’s an absolute rollercoaster of an adventure.

They left a major plot point unanswered, for the connected stand alones to answer but didn’t love how they did it.
I tried to finish this book, but I just honestly didn’t care enough about the story to finish this one, let alone read two more in the series. There were ok parts, but it was dragging out way too much.
Gosh it’s so long! I don’t think I realized that before. I’ll come back to it eventually but I need a break.

I don't waste my time on books anymore. If I don't get the feels for it or I am not interested. I stop. I started this book from an ad on Facebook or Instagram I can't remember which. I really liked the premise but for some reason I just couldn't get over the insta-connections with the 2 main characters they just didn't click to me. Oh well.

Stopped on ch 30. It started to get boring. The main couple was already together, and when I looked at the next two books, it’s still about the same people and about the same thing.
Definately hot, 2 stubborn people makes a good story. the only thing deflecting are typos

It’s just very slow and like nothing is happening. If it weren’t almost 700 pages, I might consider pushing through.
