This book seems to be hit or miss for people.
While I can appreciate Circe’s perspective on multiple classic Greek stories, this book dragged for me.
It took me over a year to finish. That is not typical for me.
I’d say give it a try. Miller certainly has a nuanced writing style. She didn’t leave any empty space in her story.
Maybe, just not my style of book.

I don’t even know where to start with this book. I loved it. I am a huge fan of Greek Mythology which made it easy to enjoy, but it was an amazing read. The writing was beautiful. The story was beautiful. The imagery, the lessons, the tale, the characters, all of it. There was something so satisfying about this story. It was incredibly simple and easy to read. I was intrigued the majority of the book about what was coming next. There were some parts that dragged a little for me but it was written well and those moments didn’t last long. The ending was satisfying and the story wrapped up nicely. I have a feeling that I will be thinking about this book often.
