Gonna try to read/listen to all the Dresden Files again (2019)--in chronological order this time. This is the first. Fairly decent story. Good artwork.

Great Dresden story but the illustrations where the best. I think I love this book! :D

It was nice to read something that was set before the book series starts. It kind of sets up Murphy's general attitude towards Harry in Storm Front, and it gives you more of an idea of why Harry is so tight lipped about what he does. If I thought a guy was dispensing justice himself instead of letting the cops handle it I would probably want to arrest him to lol. So this helps give more solidity to their working relationship than you have from just reading the books. Also I loved the artwork and the writing, I thought it did the book series justice, which I imagine is hard when using a different medium.

This was a quick story that was well done.

But it just reminded me that I am without the newest Dresden novel and will have to put up with re-reading all the stories again. *sigh*

This story was centered around the Chicago zoo and was really good! I'm hoping the library has more of these when I go tomorrow

Opens with an inspiring letter from the author regarding the influence of comic books on his novel writing. I love that he thinks in panels, even for his prose, and gives a bit of insight into the extra layers of writing for a graphic format.
