A pleasant enough light read with a bit of romance, a bit of sisterhood/family dynamics and a bit about following your dreams.

Likeable characters for the most part (except Kyle, I mean, really?!) and a nice way to spend a few hours.

Mallery does a good job in this genre

This was an entertaining book. I loved the characters in the first blackberry island books and this book was just as good. The main character Nina has always been a caregiver and finally starts thinking about herself. Her journey and te changing of her relationships with family was very heartwarming. I would highly recommend this book for someone looking for a romance with heart.

At least the characters from the second book were a little less shoehorned in than the Fool's Gold series. Though I'm seriously worried these books are going to be repeat of that.
I've just finished the book and am not sure if I really enjoyed the book four stars. It was more like a three-and-a-half with some rounding up because I enjoyed "Three Sisters" so much.
In this book, we get to see how life continues for Nina Wentworth. She was introduced in the last book as a nurse who was working for her ex-boyfriend's father. At the end of the book, she switched to help with the new pediatric doctor in town when it became clear that her ex was coming back to town.
Another arrival to town? Her sister, Averil, with whom she has a contentious relationship. See, when they were young, Nina had to take care of everything because their mother was such a flake. Still a flake, at least Bonnie has found her life partner, Bertie, who seems like a sensible enough woman.
So this book is an exploration of how the women need to grow into themselves. Especially Nina who has had to be in charge for so long. But she has to figure out her own dreams, including choosing be two men. Best line of the story? "This isn't Twilight."

I liked the storyline but was disappointed in the R-rated spots I had to skim. Didn't remember that from her last book

Total chick-lit and exactly what I wanted. I didn't really care for the narrator on the audiobook, but I loved the story.

I love the author but I really struggled with this book. There is so much pain and heartache all around in this book, I really wanted them all to go to therapy as part of their HEAs. The only two characters I loved completely were Penny and Dylan.

This is the story of Nina Wentworth and her crazy family. Nina's mom, Bonnie, bothered me the most with her carefree, I DON'T HAVE ANY RESPONSIBILITY BECAUSE EVERYONE TAKES CARE OF ME, attitude. She's the one responsible for Nina's need to take care of everyone. Nina's been caring for her mother and sister, Averil, since she was 11 years old. Crazy! Thank God for Bertie, who's Bonnie's lover/partner, and is always trying to get Bonnie to lose the Peter Pan syndrome.

Outside of all the family drama, Nina is a very lucky woman. Kyle, Navy fighter pilot, and Dylan, doctor extraordinaire, both want her. WOW! That's a very hard choice for any woman to make.

This story is so well written. There's so much going on but it's woven together so well that it just flows the entire length of the book. Characters are introduced and grew perfectly with the story. I read this book in one sitting because I couldn't tear myself away from this wonderful little place called Blackberry Island. I'm so excited to see what's next from Susan Mallery.

Received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

This books romance was not the greatest. I did like it for the well told relationship between sisters. And the important point that we own our destinies
