What if it IS all about you? What a great mind trip PKD is. Must have inspired countless twilight zone and other series and authors. Certainly I can see this in Margaret Atwood’s The Heart Goes Last. Great beach read! #46 in 2018.
Wow this book starts off Slooooooow. But the final 60 pages redeemed it for me. As always with PKD books I reverse the right to change my ranking after researching the book and recording the podcast. It's the fifties in Old Town, USA, where Ragle Gumm lives at his sister's and her husband's house, earning his pretty decent living by being the supreme champion of a daily newspaper game "Where will the Green Man be next?"
Slowly his reality starts crumbling and he starts questioning his sanity, then starts pushing the edges of his world. Spoilers aside, the last couple of chapters of the story are pretty odd, with hints of this and that happening, all of which then end up being pretty much completely ignored.

What an incredible read. It makes you question reality and existence. In a way I thought of matrix and the Truman show. A person choosing to live in a past instead of the awful future, while reality is twisted and ironic.
I finished this book and immediately felt like I needed to re-read it to get all the information and plotting down. I never re-read books either. I finished this book all in one day and it was really good. I went back and forth from the audiobook and the kindle version. This is exactly what i was expecting since watching the prime original series “Electric Dreams” (which was one of my favorite shows ever).
