Loved the meta-commentary on romance, wasn't so crazy about the heroine -- funny, but a bit on the pathetic side for my tastes.

There wasn’t a category for “slightly shallow” so I’m writing it here. Interesting but good twist at the end. Margaret Mead mention in the chat. I like that the plot and the book progression were mirrors of one another. Not gay. Disappointing!

Cute story. I really liked that it was set in Austin and refers to a lot of "landmarks". The love story is sweet, but I found it a little unbelievable at times. I think that I will definitely read some of her other books.

This book is hysterical and I recommend if you are in want of a laugh. The protagonist has such a clear voice and funny observations. I want to be her friend. It also takes place in Austin so there are all the wonderful references to Hyde Park and the drive on 2222. Fun read.

This is one of my favorite books--a fun, escapist read, with charming, quirky characters. I re-read it occasionally, just because it is so much fun.
