This was soooo delicious swoony slow burn. It of course followed the classic Mariana Zapata formula but he wasn’t mean to her in the same way all of her other male characters are

The first half of the book seemed to drag on but it was worth the wait - lol as the title suggests. such a good slow burn 🤤

I like Mariana Zapata's writing a LOT and loved a few of her other books...but this was just tooo sloww. I was pretty bored for approx 200 pages as the main characters hadn't even had a proper normal conversation yet. I guess the book properly started making sense after 250 pages or so. There wasn't any other subplot than the guy noticing our girl and helping her out.
Although I did enjoy the slow burn and the flirting at the end.

Did I mention her adorable nephews...one star for each of them (they were kind of the only reason I kept reading the book):)

Loved seeing trip again and getting more of him and a Van and Aiden as well as Sal and Kulti appearance - loved the family and Diana’s strength also the boys and the way Dallas integrated in their lives 🥹

Noticed in other books too that there were alot of threads and the ending felt really fastly tied up

Ugh, what an excruciatingly delicious slow burn. And boy, was it worth the wait.
