Loved it!!! I loved the sort of community feel it gave me! The entertainment lounge on the holiday park where most of the characters worked kind of reminded me a little bit of the book daisy jones and the six, because of how the characters reflected on that time in their lives. It was touching and wholesome and well thought out!

Author did a great shop treating tarot reading and clairvoyance respectfully, at least from my perspective. Same with Clive, another unique character.

Honestly, this was a really cute sweet British book. It was such a quick read. And I thought the ending was unexpected and delightful. A few things about the book were a bit odd or just didn’t feel very likely, and it kind of read like an old people book. Haha but I still enjoyed it so props!

A Ruth Hogan book is always a delight. I found this slightly harder to get into than some of her previous ones, possibly due to the dual timelines and lots of characters but once I found my stride I really enjoyed it.
