Wow!  This book was incredible, dark, sad at times, and the end was so satisfying, though still tragic.  The depth of the depravity that these victims suffered was absolutely abhorrent and I challenged my own mind to understand this level of sadistic behavior. Ultimately though, it is through tragedy that a deep love is found. I did figure out some of the twists along the way, but others I was completely shocked by.  The audio narration on this book was incredible and I enjoyed the varying voices that told the story.

This book was very messed up, that being said, I was bored as hell reading this. Honestly so much could've been cut out and I didn't really care for the two main characters, they were boring to read about. There is so much extra filler in this book, there was too much romance for a thriller book. I wanted more plot and twists, but this was a lot of the two main characters in their regular boring lives not doing much. 2 stars for me. ⭐⭐

Her father setup Evan to be taken to get back at his father for killing Noelle's mother and then Evan's father setup Noelle. They accidentally have a daughter together. All bad men die and they live happily ever after. No spice.

I really enjoyed this book! Despite the reviews I stuck it out and I’m glad I did.
