Sad to not have finished this. I loved the idea and I loved the main character (having a tic made her feel especially real), but I couldn't get along with the writing. It feels like there isn't enough energy in it, and I wasn't spurred on to keep reading when it felt so flat. I felt the same about the author's YA, Half My Luck so clearly I just don't gel with her writing.
