This book was okay. I loved the twisted series but this felt like the book plateaued so early. Twisted Hate even felt like it set this book’s plot up too well. It was a cute end to the series. Just was expected more.
Stella is an influencer who has had a stalker for 2 years. He has been silent for a while but comes up again after she starts to fake date her landlord and security expert, Christian. Christian has been infatuated with Stella for a little bit and they start to get closer.

Overall, I liked the book. The pacing was decent and there was just enough build up of sexual tension that when they finally gave in to each other, it felt worth the wait.
I’m a little bit disappointed with the climax of the plot. Felt like it fell a bit flat, partially because it felt like the tension was split between the relationship drama and the stalker drama and partially because we knew the whole time that Christian was a dark character so when Stella found out, I was less interested or invested in her shock/distress. Then he had to go all sappy on us and write those letters…seemed a bit over the top but maybe I’m just not the sappy sort.

Christian does some bad shit but I didn’t find it any more jarring than what you would see on TV these days
