Skeleton Key smartly weaves two missions together and in the style of the series, we are taken on a journey through several countries.
Without meaning to sound harsh, this is probably one of my less favourite Alex Rider books as I feel that he remains rather passive throughout big parts of the plot. However, this story has a lot of redeeming qualities. We are presented with several events that foster character development, we meet the darling that is Sabina, and we are not deprived of Alex’s sass! Just what we love to see.
I am very much looking forward to the next book in the series as it is one of my favourites.

Don't get me wrong, I really liked this book but somehow I wasn't in love with it? Like I felt there wasn't much of Alex in action part that I'm always thrilled to read about. It took much more time to set up the stage and showed much more of other characters than I really wanted to see?

But other than that the whole thing: plot, pacing, characters, humor, intensity, mystery was amazing. No reason to not read it!

I feel there were so many near misses I was always kept on my toes the whole book. My favorite thus far.
