Es un fanfic.
No tiene nada de malo. Dios sabe que me he leído muchísimos fanfics.
No me molesta.

A rising professional cellist meets - unbeknownst to her - a K-Pop idol one night in Los Angeles where they end up spending time together and a spark ignites between them. But it's a fleeting meet up as Jaewoo flies back to South Korea the next day and Jenny has to get on with her studying and cello practice. That is until Jenny's grandmother falls ill and she flies to South Korea with her mother to be with her, and Jenny ends up enrolling in the same school Jaewoo attends. But Jaewoo is forbidden from dating anyone, yet that spark between them grows... How much will they risk for love?
I absolutely adored this sweet story about a forbidden romance between two people who live completely different lives. The writing is superb and so engaging, I was easily enraptured and couldn't stop reading just one more chapter. It's easy to fall into the story and I loved the main setting of Seoul where both Jenny and Jaewoo study and meet for the second time.
Jenny is a brilliant main character, studious and determined but also very caring for her family and friends. Jaewoo is also fabulous, caring in nature as well and talented; I just loved reading about them both! I also really liked the rest of the XOXO group as well as Jenny's friends she makes at the school in Seoul.
The plot flows really well and the pace of the romance is expertly done. At first there is a spark, but then it soon grows and builds into something more. It's longing glances and clandestine meetings and all so very fun to read! I didn't know what to expect for the ending but I was sad to turn the last page and find the acknowledgements because I didn't want it to end!
A wonderful story that is captivating, endearing and adorable to read. I absolutely loved it!
This was a cute and fast read. I enjoyed it. But that's about it. I thought I would like it more.
I felt like the kissing came too fast like I didn't have time to see the build up between the two characters. I feel like it needed more elaboration before they kissed and then got together.
I also thought it would be more angsty due to the 'idols can't date' part and thought their love would be more in the forbidden aspect but I felt like it lacked something there. As I said more elaboration or tension would have been nice.
Besides that the reading was enjoyable and the characters lovable so it was okay.

Pretty cute YA romance. Nothing to risqué or adult, and the characters don't lie to each other or treat each other poorly. Even the "mean girl" isn't really that mean.
