An orchestra student falls for a K-pop artist.
It was... okay.  She tranfers to Seoul to go to a performing arts school.  She runs into the boy she met in LA and had a fun night with... turns out he's a k-pop artist. They have to navigate their friendship and eventual relationship in secret.
I'm not familiar with the k-pop scene so this book was just that a book.  Not really a story that grabbed me.
funny lighthearted

I love watching a good K-drama. This was like listening to one in book form. I enjoyed it a lot. Nothing revolutionary but a very light and fun read. Greta Jung did a great job narrating.

A very cutesy YA romance for fans of Kpop! As a kpop fan myself, I was able to enjoy this without really any cringing. I listened to the audiobook and Im glad they got a narrator that knew Korean, however, I wasn't really a fan of how she read the book. I feel like my rating would have been a bit higher if so. But, was still a great time :)

It was okay, I don't regret reading it, but I won't read it again. The plot felt very Wattpad esque, but I didn't mind too much. I wasn't all that attached to the characters, so that was a bit of a disappointment, but that could've just been a me thing. It had some cussing, no f-words though. It had very passionate kissing on chapter 34, page 286. It didn't go far in detail at all, but it did say they unbuttoned each other's shirts. I can't recommend this book to anyone younger than 16 for that reason. It also has a few inappropriate jokes, so be wary.
